Objectives
To have a publication that regularly gathers basic statistical data on the situation of young people residing in the Basque Country with the aim of regularly informing basque society of the main social, demographic and economic indicators for young people in order to thus fulfil one of the main functions of the basque youth observatory, and in order to gather and distribute data that may, either directly or indirectly, reflect the realities of youth in the Basque Country.
Overall objective:
- To provide basque society with full, up-to-date information on the situation of young people in the basque country.
Specific objectives:
- To create, manage and maintain statistical databases on basque youth.
- To compile the main indicators on basque youth in a single publication.
Coverage
- Population:

Young people aged between 15 and 29 in the Basque Country. In some cases, the age of young people will vary according to the requirements of the analysis.
- Geographic area:

The reference point shall be the Basque Country, with comparisons being made with other geographical areas (Spain and the EU-28).
- Time scale:

The timeframe chosen will depend on the data gathered from each source of information. The objective will be to always use the widest available timeframe and the most recent data.
