- The survey extends to those statistical units located in the geographical area of the Basque Country, even though their headquarters is situated outside the Community.

Sampling
A probabilistic sampling is carried out in two phases:
1. Single stage sampling, in which the statistical units are selected with probability one based on the size of the business.
2. Random stratified sampling by optimum allocation.
A sample with a total of 1,000 statistical units is obtained.
