Information on economic activity trends, through the evolution of budgets at the following levels of the Autonomous Basque Administration: Basque Government and Provincial Councils.
Information and analysis regarding Budget execution, taking into account their economic classification, for both the expenditure section and the receipts section of the Basque Government and the Provincial Councils.
It is obtained from the Recognised Liabilities (expenditure) and Assets (receipts) on the closing date of each quarter. The response is a complete one in the sense that all the necessary information is accessible. This occasionally leads to delays in the results being made available, especially in the last quarter of the year, when the Institutions generally hold back the closing date.

Population:: The information is broken down into sections on expenditure and receipts, in accordance with the economic Classification jointly-used in the drafting of their Budgets by the participating bodies. The Basque Government and the Provincial Councils of Álava, Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa.
Geographic scope:: The territorial scope is the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country, without provincial disaggregation.
Timeframe:: The quarterly results are presented in accordance with the following levels of conceptual breakdown: Quarterly data is presented following the phases of execution of the Budgets: Budget Updated, Liabilities Recognised and Payments Made in the case of Expenditure and in the case of Receipts, Budget Updated, Assets Recognised and Income Received.
