Indicator formula:

Energy dependency = 100 – (Primary production of energy *100/ Gross interior consumption)

Primary energy production as well is gross interior consumption is obtained from the annual EUSKADI ENERGIA publication of the Basque Country energy entity (EVE). These reports are a product of diffusion from the official “Energy data of the Basque Country” statistics.
