Eustat generates valuable information in areas such as social, economic, scientific and technological or environmental. Publishing it in standard digital formats facilitates its reuse, promoting innovation and new services.
In accordance with Directive (EU) 2019/1024 of June 20, 2019, high-value data are considered to be those which, due to the socioeconomic benefits they entail, have a particularly high value for the economy and society. Its Annex I contains the list of thematic categories of high-value datasets. Subsequently, the Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/138 of 21 December 2022 establishes the publication and conditions applicable to the reuse and minimum requirements for the dissemination of data through application programming interfaces (API).
