The ten-yearly Agricultural Census allows the quantification of all the agricultural farms existing in the Basque Country, whoever the individual or legal entity acting as owner and whatever the purpose of the agricultural production. It forms the basis of the Directory of Agricultural Farms. The statistical operation Survey on the Structure of Agricultural Farms completes, in turn, with biannual statistical information, knowledge about the agricultural farms that fulfil certain minimum conditions on size and production in the territory of the community.
