An analysis was made of the economic resources used by the public administration of the Basque Country in recent years for the planning and promotion of the Basque language. This section presents some important information from this study. The results are presented according to the institution analysed (Basque Government, Provincial Councils and municipalities with more than 5,000 inhabitants), or according to the areas of action for language planning (17 areas). Regarding infrastructure, a list is provided of the entities which, in one way or another, help to promote the use of Basque, as well as others that offer their services entirely in Basque or in both languages.
