Population and housing census. Dwellings. The purpose of the Housing Department is to obtain annual data on the dwellings located in the Basque Country detailed at the municipal level. Specifically, information is disseminated on the typology, size of the dwelling, surface area, tenure regime and number of residents, among others, as well as the equipment of the dwelling and the building. The performance of this statistical operation is based on the treatment and use of mostly administrative sources, without direct collection of information.
