Population and housing census. Education. The purpose of education is to obtain annual data on the level of education of the population residing in the Basque Country, detailed at the municipal level. Specifically, information is disseminated on the level of training achieved, level of studies in progress, mobility with respect to the place of study and its distribution with respect to socio-demographic variables such as sex, age, nationality, country of birth or situation in relation to the activity. The performance of this statistical operation is based on the treatment and use of mostly administrative sources, without direct collection of information.
