Other non-market production (P.13)

Production supplied free to other units or at economically insignificant prices.

Other non-market producers are the local UAE or institutional units that supply most of their production free or at economically insignificant prices

A criteria is used based on 50% of the costs of production:

  • If sales cover at least 50% of the costs of production, the institutional unit is a market producer and is classified in the "non-financial companies" sector or in the "financial institutions" sector;

  • If sales cover at least 50% of the costs of production, the institutional unit is another non-market producer and is classified in the "ISFLSH" sector. Nevertheless, other non-market ISFL controlled and financed mainly by the public administration are classified in the "public administration" sector.
