Gross schooling rate

Relationship between the number of schoolchildren at each level and the theoretical population of school age at each level.

The theoretical ages for the different levels of education are:
Infant Education (0-5 years), Primary Education- (6-11 years) Compulsory Secondary (E.S.O.) (12-15 years). Baccalaureate (16-17 years), Teacher Training (16-17 years ), Further Studies (18-24 years)

To calculate schooling rates by age the updated population pyramid prepared by Eustat has been used, except in the last academic year where projection data has been applied.
