This provides basic education that is understood to be the education process between literacy and when the pupil obtains a Certificate of Secondary Education. Individuals are eligible to receive this type of education from 18 years of age if it is face-to-face, or from 16 years of age if it is distance learning and the pupil does not have a Certificate of Secondary Education.
