Transported goods

These are the moveable items transported from one place to another.

When a vehicle transports two different types of goods, it is considered to have undertaken two transport operations.

The following classifications of goods are used:

  • Agricultural products and livestock.
  • Food products and fodder.
  • Petroleum products.
  • Crude and manufactured ores and construction materials.
  • Machinery, vehicles, manufactured items and special transactions.
  • Other goods: including:
    • Solid mineral fuels.
    • Minerals and waste for recasting.
    • Metal products.
    • Fertilisers.
    • Chemical products
