Population in work

Population in work

This includes the population that declares itself directly or indirectly - by being included on an administrative register - to be in one of the following situations on the reference date:

  • Working in an trade, profession or job position that is paid (through a salary, daily wage, company profit, etc.) in money or in kind.
  • Working for the company of a relative with whom he/she lives, without a fixed payment or salary.

Those who have work but have been temporarily absent from work due to illness, holidays, etc., are also considered to be part of the population in work.
